The development of Socioeconomic Management stems from the recognition that managers prioritize empirical control and quick decision-making, particularly in uncertain conditions. These elements are crucial for fostering adaptability and agility in businesses. This insight underscores the need for decision-making frameworks that emphasize evidence-based management while maintaining the flexibility necessary to navigate dynamic environments effectively.
By incorporating these principles, Socioeconomic Management helps organisations institutionalise adaptive processes, enabling better handling of uncertainties and fostering operational stability. You can learn more about how this approach enhances competitiveness and decision-making capabilities

Interpretation of the Results:

  • Empirical control received the highest score (57 points), with an average of 7.13, indicating that the respondents valued this factor most. This suggests that managers prioritize evidence-based decision-making and data-driven strategies, with a preference for empirical insights to guide organizational development.
  • Quick decisions even with limited background knowledge scored second with 54 points and an average of 6.75. This highlights that managers also recognize the importance of speed and agility in decision-making, even when complete information may not be available. This aligns with the need for adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Organizational support came next, scoring 50 points with an average of 6.25. This shows that managers also see the value of a strong organizational foundation and the support systems that ensure sustainable development, even though it was not ranked as highly as empirical control or fast decision-making.
  • Technical participation was the least prioritized factor, with only 30 points and an average of 3.75. This suggests that, while technical involvement might still be important, it is less of a focus compared to organizational support, empirical control, and the ability to make quick decisions.
